Casey Young Commits

WR Casey Young of Regis Jesuit high school in Aurora, Colorado has commited to the Fighting Sioux.  Regis Jesuit is a football powerhouse in Colorado and currently they are the#2 overall seed in the Class 5A playoffs behind traditional power JK Mullen (high school of current Sioux freshman OL Dwayne Pecosky).

Young, who is 6’2″ – 185lbs and runs a 4.5 forty, is a Rivals 2 star recruit and had a written offer from Weber State.  He is the #19 rated recruit in the state of Colorado.  Young is also the reigning Class 5A 110 and 300 meter hurdle champion in the state of Colorado and has turned in a time of 10.82 in the 100 meters.  Sounds like an excellent athlete with size which is exactly what UND needs at the WR position.  We can only speculate but we would think the Big Sky move had something to do with his decision.
