Week 5 Big Sky Pick’ems

Only one game separates us at this point but we did not see this week’s slate of games the same at all.  This will be ‘separation week’ for somebody.

Montana  at Eastern Washington (-5)

FRITZ:  I’m going to go way out on a limb here and say Montana wins this game out of pure sense of survival – by a FG.

OSKIE:  Eastern Washington sends Missoula into panic mode.

Montana State at Southern Utah (-5)

FRITZ:  I’m sticking with the state of Montana here again.  Bobcat boys from Bozeman (how’s that for alliteration?) win a close one.

OSKIE:  This is the game of the week (besides the UND game).  SUU will have success vs. MSU but can they stop the Bobcat attack?  Me thinks just enough to get the win.  Upset City.

Portland State at Northern Arizona (-11)

FRITZ:  I’m going with the upset here again.  NAU letdown after it’s win over Montana combined with an angry PSU team equals a Viking victory.

OSKIE: PSU is going to get wins sometime but Flagstaff is not the place for them to start.  Too much Bauman.

Weber State at UC-Davis (-3)

FRITZ:  Aggies by a TD.

OSKIE:  Two teams desperately in need of a win.  Weber pulls out a late win.

Sacramento State (-7) at Idaho State

FRITZ:  Sac State by 4 points.

OSKIE:  The Bengals are a strange team, they have some talent but it seems to take them time to put it all together.  Hasn’t happened yet – the Hornets win a good game.

Cal-Poly at North Dakota (even)

See preview.

Updated Records: Oskie 32-9 – Fritz 31-10.
